Hi guys, I know this isn't really a forum for live sound but I thought it might be an idea to ask here anyway as its pretty simple! I've been trying to kit out 2 of my rehearsal rooms but my ignorance has been letting me down a bit! First off instead of buying a p.a system for vocals I was advised wedge monitors would be a much better idea. The first thing that I thought would be good enough was 3 laney 65w active wedge monitors but linking these all up there simply wasn't enough power and they were distorting when I sang loudly into them

Sometimes accoustic guitar but that's occasionally.(the AT4040 is great for accoustic guitar) I have to make my decision until monday so I would greatly appreciate your opinions to which mic you would suggest from these two for rap and rnb-reggae vocal recordings.confoosedkfhkh
