Audio Output What’s Good To Use?

I’ve been reading a lot, and will prob add some good monitor speakers to my home studio, but wanting to know what should my sound output go into , which in turn goes out to the monitor speakers? Currently I’m using an basic typical home stereo receiver to listen to the output. Thanks.

Reason 4 Compression (Drums)

Hi I seen around 400 compression videos and been reading things up on it for about a year and i still cannot stop my drums from clipping in reason 4,the kick,snare etc will NEVER WORK for me,always in the red,on fruity or other programs im ok but i think reason is cursing me,any 1 help?

Hi Guys, I’ve never had to post a question here as someone has usually asked it before but I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. Basically I am filming a wedding and want to get great audio from the service. My plan was to buy an MP3 recorder (I like the look of the LS11), plug an external lavalier mic (omnidirectional so it could pick up the priest, groom and bride) and put it in the grooms jacket pocket with the mic clipped to his jacket

Upgrade question

iv been reading for a few years now learning and practicing and i felt like i should post to get opinions on a upgrade. i have a 002 console but im considering upgrading to a MR816x, lucid GenX192 Clock, and Alpha Chanel or An Orpheus from prism so what you all thing?
