Hey Alan- I’ve always liked this one on several levels. The song is great and the mix has a great build throughout. There is actually a lot happening in there with tons of instruments/voices moving in and out from beginning to end.

Superior Drummer 2.0 & Expression pedal

I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get my expression pedal hooked up to my keyboard to constantly control the open to closed state of the hihat such that when the pedal is fully depressed it stays closed while playing repeated hihat note keys, then gradually opens as i rock backward on the pedal.

Compression – how to get started!

Listen people! I still dont get compression! I cant figure out how to compress parts of the tune to sound right. Id like to sound almost as powerfull as on the radio although I know that without a good gear its almost impossible. (its unlikely) Nevertheless I still want to know how to use a compressor.

I have 2 pc’s one for audio and one for personal use. The personal one, has the internet connection but obviously the soundcard is just a built in one with cheap features

tascam 2488 and a computer?

My friend’s dad has a Tascam 2488 II and he has been trying to record and mix within it but wants to be able to use it as an interface into a DAW. I told him to get fl studio because I know how to use it, but I can’t figure out how to get fl to recognize the tascam in the ins/outs. Is this even possible
