Double Drywall GG Question For Ya

Been through all the threads I could find on what you guys have done and recommend for double drywall with Green Glue install and I still have one question. Doesn’t it make sense to backer rod, acoustic seal AND at least skim a coat of mud into the tapered drywall edges between the layers so you have the flattest surface possible for the GG? The GG instructions say you can just seal the seams on the first coat but I’m thinking how is this GG going to get smashed down to .5mm like they say when I am overlapping these tapered valleys that are deeper than .5mm?

whats up y’all, so my neighbour moved out and put 2 boxes of nice vinyls on the curb for garbage day so i scooped that shit lol. I wanna give back to everybody since ive been leaching a lot lately so I wanna post some samples, but I have one problem. These are my first vinyls and I have no turntable or anything to convert them to mp3 so I was wondering if anybody could tell me what equipment to buy?

I’m afraid double bass just isn’t for me and this wasn’t a good “experiment.” Frankly I have more opportunities on electric bass & guitar and not enough time in the day to learn a new instrument.

Need some synth advice before big purchase, examples enclosed.

I make all types of house but my true love seems to always come back to Tribal house or big heavy tracks. I also like funky house like Hott 22 and older Full Intention tracks so am looking for a versatile synth

The key to any song?

(Not sure if this is in the right forum or not, if not tell me and i will move it) But is the key to arranging to make a longer song feel like it’s not long enough bor just right and make the listener come back for more by like switching up parts to keep them interested, and shorter songs droan on alittle to make the listener not feel left out by for example arrragning a riff and using a contant progression through the song to make the ears feel a little bored but still make it short enough. Example being for longer songs like Bonnie Tyler “Total Eclipse of the Heart and alot of other 80’s ballads (post if you can think of anymore!) Short songs: Green Day “American Idiot” and all the new stuff from Never Shout Never
