How can I help out audio from a point-and-shoot camera video?

I was just wondering if anyone had any tricks on making the audio from point and shoot videos slightly better. I have a bunch of clips from concerts recorded and I’d like to beef up the audio a little bit. I know it’s a long shot but I thought maybe someone else has dealt with this issue as well.

PRO TOOLS 8 le Record enable

When record enable is on and you press play, you can record things on that track and when you punch in and eventually finish recording you can drag the region back and the bit that you wern’t punched in for shows up on the region and was recorded all along. Is there a way to turn this off as i beleive its slowing my computer down? When a track – or most often, multiple tracks – are record enabled, when i press play to get ready to punch in, there is a huge delay in when it starts playing.

Cubase 5 Crashes When Opening Particular Project

Man, I love Cubase 5…but I don’t love this issue. One very large file that I have not yet exported as separate files is now unopenable. All other projects are fine, but this one loads up, and then promptly crashes–Cubase just disappears…no icon visible, no warning

Input impedance of DI with an input pad

I’m in the process of considering my options for building a DI, an the issue of the pad has me confused. Mostly I’m basing myself off this schematic: http://jensen-transformers.com/as/as066.pdf So the above DI would show you a respectable input impedance of 140k (loading a 1k input imedance preamp)
