Cubase Help

So I’m trying to set up my keyboard in cubase so it plays the same no matter how hard or soft i push the damn keys…Does anybody know how you go about changing the velocity settings or anything else…Thanks!!!

Ok, my bands going to record within the next month and badly need some advice. First off, Ill give you the 1st big problem – The band consists of bass, 2 lead vocals, 2 backing vocals, electric guitar, keyboard and various percussion – And we’ll be recording in an untreated room. I know exactly how important a treated room is – but I just dont see it being a possibilty in the next month.

Help using synthesizer as Midi Controller (am I missing something here?)

Hey guys, I posted this under another section of GS but realized it was probably in the wrong forum. Recently my Korg MicroKontrol broke down on me, and instead of purchasing a new midi controller, I decided to whip the Nord Lead 2X out from the attic and use that as my dedicated controller instead.

Question about Keyboards

I’m new to producing iv started out with fruity Loops i have yet to use actual instruments in my beats I plan on learning how to play the piano but just have a couple questions on what type i should get. Since I am a beginner I’m guessing i wont need top of the line expensive keyboard but i also want something that i wont think is garbage when i start picking up how to actually play the piano and I eventually want to be able to plug the keyboard into my computer and use it in fruity loops

Superior Drummer 2.0 & Expression pedal

I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get my expression pedal hooked up to my keyboard to constantly control the open to closed state of the hihat such that when the pedal is fully depressed it stays closed while playing repeated hihat note keys, then gradually opens as i rock backward on the pedal. Currently the pedal will only affect the last note pressed, and when a new note is played, the hihat returns to it’s assigned sample on the last key i pressed.
