Tascam Model 15 Console and converters

Cheap Soundcard Digtal out, does it matter with great conversion?

Hey All, I own a Benchmark DA which I enter into via Optical SPIF from my cheap $20 sound card out the back of my PC. So I am wondering would it benefit me to get something like the Lynx AES PCI card if I am only looking for a sonic upgrade via the AES out rather than the cheap sound card. The Main question here…does the digital part of the chain really matter if you have a solid DA??

Hello everybody, I’m going to buy a Lynx Aurora 8 interface and what I’d like to know is if I’ll be able to use it with the two M-Audio Delta 1010 pci interfaces currently installed on my pc. So that I’ll get 8 outputs from the Lynx + 16 additional outputs from the 1010s.
