I love what the Duende bus compressor does to the sound of my drum bus, very punchy! I've seen comparisons of Duende vs Waves, but never vs the hardware version, so : I realize that the price difference is quite high, but I was wondering how it compared with the hardware SSL XLogic G compressor. Would it make much difference if I put that on my drum bus vs the Duende version? Since the hardware uses a clear analog path (no tubes or transformers), it should introduce very little coloration.
