Does anyone here own an Orban Optimod or similar device to test how your mixes will be affected by the radio processing? I wonder why there is no plugin for this yet hittt

I really like this track – it “makes me smile’ as its lyrics promises..! Its a well established pop radio “evergreen” here in the UK (and I am sure elsewhere) So congrats! My question – when you hear it on the radio – does it make you smile? diddlydoo or are there things that niggle you about the recording or mix that distract you.. heh Rock on!

Compression – how to get started!

Listen people! I still dont get compression! I cant figure out how to compress parts of the tune to sound right. Id like to sound almost as powerfull as on the radio although I know that without a good gear its almost impossible. (its unlikely) Nevertheless I still want to know how to use a compressor.
