Phantom Power problems

I wonder if anyone can help me with a phantom power related problem I’m having. I’ve recently bought an old 80s analogue desk (a MTR 12 to 8..very basic) and am simply running the desk’s outs into my Focusrite Saffire Pros line inputs. So technically just utilising the desks channel strips (which sound surprisingly good for a small desk!..nice and warm).

Hi All, How are the 552’s preamps for studio recording of music and vocals? I need to increase my preamp count for doing the above (and some location stuff in churches) and was looking at something like an 8-preamp audio interface to replace/augment my MOTU Ultralite.
