Heralding the arrival of Audient’s Dual Layer Technology, the ASP2802 fully integrates with the computer system, enabling the user to switch effortlessly between the analog layer – the traditional mixer path travelling through the console – and the DAW layer within the computer session. Behaving like no ordinary eight channel desk, the compact design of the ASP2802 also belies a fully functioning master section based on the design of the now classic ASP8024, and shares the same mic preamp topology and bus compressor design, not usually available on other such compact consoles.
