Benefits to Monitors?

Hey guys Hows everyone doing – I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if there would be any big benefits to an upgrade I’m considering… Right now I’m using a Logitech G51 speaker setup, Great for gaming, Decent for listening/making music, My question is – Would I greatly benefit from the upgrade to 2 Mackie HR824 Mk2’s? or would the money spent not really be that beneficial

Connect Digidesign RM-1 digitally

Hi all, I have a pair of the Digidesign/PMC RM-1’s and a MOTU 2408MK3, I am currently using the speakers via analog monitor out on the 2308, how would I go about connecting then digitally (they have a digital XLR and two ethernet ports? on the rear) I have never used digital to power speakers before, is there any benefits to it? Room EQ Wizard: two questions please?

Hello, After installing 6 bass traps in my small room, I ran (or think I ran correctly) REQ, and can still see some peaks and valleys. One question I have is, how to you set up a calibration file for the measurement mic?, or is that even necessary.

Apogee Minime as sound card?

Good morning y’all! I just bought my first pair of decent-grade studio monitors, so its time for me to step my game up with the sound output on my laptop. As I was looking around for soundcards with D/A conversion, I found that my Apogee MiniMe (USB version), which has been collecting dust all this time, has fine converters.
