I feel like I can EQ drums well, but I really struggle with vocals, some guitar and other sources. Whats the best way to learn how to EQ a vocal?

i need help on deciding which would be the best turntable for me i need a turntable that has great sound quality and can be hooked up directly to mpc i only need the turntable for sampling that is it. Stanton T.55 T55 USB Turntable Belt Drive would this be a good choice for what i need it for?
