I know the whole zero latency monitoring thing continues be be hot topic of conversation and gets raised again and again, and rather than repeatedly posting this particular solution I thought it might be a worthwhile topic in its own right so post your own solutions as well While we eagerly await Avid to update their solutions to offer this out of the box, here’s my starter for 10 that I’ve recommended to a handfu of people and workds really well – Use an RME Fireface!! Fireface audio interfaces lend themselves to this pretty well because they can be set to standalone AD-DA mode and also provide custom input monitoring.
