Ensoniq DP/4 bypass issue

So, I picked up an Ensoniq DP/4 so I could get some effects on a “sub mix” coming out of an Ashly line mixer. Before I put it after the mixer, I thought I’d have fun with it on my Prophet 08. Immediately I heard a pronounced high frequency roll off when I put it in bypass

I’d love to get a thread going here where we can share some of our knowledge about currently made high end delay and echo devices that are devine and offer something unique as well as useful. These could be: Rack units Pedals Table top units Or any other type of construction Harware only, no software plug-ins for this one.
