Ensoniq DP/4 bypass issue

So, I picked up an Ensoniq DP/4 so I could get some effects on a “sub mix” coming out of an Ashly line mixer. Before I put it after the mixer, I thought I’d have fun with it on my Prophet 08. Immediately I heard a pronounced high frequency roll off when I put it in bypass

Prophet 08 vs andromeda filters

I was wondering how the andromeda filters compare to the ones in the prophet 08. It seems to me that whenever i check out demos of each on the web, I can’t do an easy comparison since the andromeda demos are usually coated with it’s effects engine. Can someone who has both describe how they differ?
