Would a Mackie 1604 Work for Recording on Computer?

I have a Mackie 1604 VLZ-Pro and was wondering if I could use it for PC recording if I could find a interface to plug into that had firewire. The goal would be to have 16 xlr channels at a low cost. Does anyone have any suggestions on a firewire interface that I could use to run the direct outs on the 1604 to?
