Hey guys im new to gearslutz and im trying to build my first inhome studio, the only thing is I know absolutely nothing about the gear. So my question is: What kind of gear should I start out with?

I am always reading about people having latency issues with their gear, with monitoring….with midi, etc. I never notice this…am I missing something
