FLEA (Japanese version)
May 11, 2010 Recording
Curious if anyone has had any experience with the FLEA mics that are apparently retuned by Mr. Sato, in Japan (Japanese Dist) I record a lot of Japanese vocals every year, both male and female, and with the females at least, I haven’t found a mic that I’ve really liked. Most of the males are business as usual but quite often there’s this harsh peak, usually in the 3k range, with the females that is quite annoying.

Three JD800 and 990 questions
May 7, 2010 Recording
Dear slutz, the JD800 has got some great potential, I love the versatile filter despite the sharp and quite often ugly resonnance. Some questions: * Is there an “init” function anywhere so I can really start a patch from true scratch? It’s very annoying tweaking and existing voice as there are always parameters you con’t control with the sliders.
