Jupiter 8 DCB midi playable range?

Hey – don’t think this was ever mentioned but who here knows if a Jupiter 8 fitted with DCB can have more playable range though MIDI than its keyboard? I ask this because once I get my Jupiter 8 I’ll be probably using its DCB and purchasing a DCB to MIDI converter.
