Music: for profit or pleasure?

Just testing the circuits of this new board and the tastes of it’s members: How many of you would consider yourselves as being primarily motivated to play/record music for profit? vs how many of you consider yourselves primarily motivated to playing/recording strictly for pleasure? Depending on the results I think it would be a pretty good indicator of the skill levels of the majority of forumites.

I just got back from my first visit to an Audiologist ( Musicians’ Hearing Services: hearing protection for musician ) and here’s the results (left chart is right ear, right chart is left ear) I went to get checked up as felt I was having problems, but didn’t realise it was so bad. So I’ve now been fitted for some ER15s and will wear them religiously at all band rehearsals, live gigs etc from now on

So I’ve now been fitted for some ER15s and will wear them religiously at all band rehearsals, live gigs etc from now on. I’m new to and slowly moving into the production side of things, and just wanted to ask if the results above will have a serious negative affect on mixing, production etc.
