My Hiwatt 200 sound like a Geiger counter!

My Hiwatt 200 bass amp started making clicking noises while in use today. It was fine for about 10 minutes of loud playing before the clicking started. At first the clicking happened at specific intervals, about 3-4 clicks per second.
