Preamp monitors as home theatre speakers

Hello Gearslutz, I know this might not be the right place for asking, but I know for sure that this is the right place to get the right answer I have KRK RP8 speakers and would like to use them for my home theatre system. My needs: – Being able to listen DVDs on my TV with the sound going trought the KRK. – Being able to plug an Ipod on the same system to used to speakers
