Help identify PC buzzing noise

Hi all, I’m trying to locate the source of a rather harsh buzzing sound that appears at my soundcard’s (audiophile 2496) unbalanced in’s and out’s. The noise is at a workable level if I monitor direct from the card but becomes very loud if I run through my mixer (Makie 1402 VLZ).
