We decided to address the actual compression circuit in the ART Pro Vla and improve what we feel was a major performance issue with the Pro Vla (version 1 and 2). Mainly that the attack and release values were too slow for certain intended uses like 2 Buss and Drum Buss applications.

Does a "Transparent" compressor do this?

Hello, I’m mostly work in a venue that provide sound reinforcement for speech most of the time. I personally like learning different sound engineering stuff. (Just that I might not always have chance to practice, I still like to know about it) recently I came across to a video by Dave Rat YouTube – Live Sound Mixing Strategy So I was thinking trying to acquire some quad comp with adequate metering.
