I’m seeking recommendations for spot mics (location and spacing) on a piano performing Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No.3 in D minor with orchestra. The main AB omni pair (KM183) above the conductor will pick up most of the soundstage very well, including a reasonably centred Steinway grand

I was house-sitting & feeding the animals for a buddy of mine a few years ago, and his 20+ lb tom came at me, ears back, growling like a dog. Not knowing at the time that it was de-clawed, and seeing as it was blocking the front door, I helped myself to the sand wedge from his golf bag in the hallway and chipped that fat fucker twice, once into the kitchen, then into the laundry room, where I locked it for the rest of the week
