Best Female Singer Vocal Mics High End Only
May 10, 2010 Recording
Hello all, I am wanting to buy a nice vintage AKG, Siemens, Neumann, Sony or Telefunken Microphone that works on most female singers (sopranos). I have heard of C12, Elam, etc. working well

A question regarding mics in relation to the KM184
Ok, Here’s what I have. I am going to be recording primarily acoustic guitars and vocals in a home “studio” I run Logic Pro and am using an Apogee Duet as my interface. My two guitars that I play through are 3.5 and 4.5 Mcphersons.

In praise of the AT4033
May 6, 2010 Recording
I saw that Alan Parsons gives a shout out to the lowly AT4033. I second! This mic’s a real sleeper. Versatile– I’ve used my pair for everything over the years– and it takes lead vocal duty over my U87 for at least half my projects
