FDW Corp Announces Audient’s Dual Layer Technology with ASP2802

FDW Corp is pleased to announce that Audient’s sleek, eight channel ASP2802 console was launched to much acclaim at MusikMesse 2010 in Frankfurt, combining classic analog features with extensive DAW integration and control. Heralding the arrival of Audient’s Dual Layer Technology, the ASP2802 fully integrates with the computer system, enabling the user to switch effortlessly between the analog layer – the traditional mixer path travelling through the console – and the DAW layer within the computer session. Behaving like no ordinary eight channel desk, the compact design of the ASP2802 also belies a fully functioning master section based on the design of the now classic ASP8024, and shares the same mic preamp topology and bus compressor design, not usually available on other such compact consoles.

Hey GS– long time no see! Wondering how many small (1- 2 -3 people) audio shops are making a go in the post world, and what kind of projects your able to take on. I’m wondering how many of these small indy films and docs stay pretty much with the same people throughout editorial-design- and mix

Equipment: Mac Pro running Logic 9 into Lynx Aurora 16 via Lynx AES-16e card MCI 500 console Barefoot MM27 The room is solid, by that I mean great. Extremely well bass trapped and all reflection points accounted for.
