Transferring MIDI drum loops into sequencer

Hi there, I’m a novice recordist just trying to find my way around the MIDI realm, and had what may be an obvious question. I’ve been using EZDrummer as a sequencer/sound source (with Cubase 4, Macbook Pro), and recently acquired a bunch of third-party MIDI loops (IK Multimedia, Prosonic)

Cubase & EZ Drummer problems

I’m using Cubase Essential 4 and EZ Drummer. I have created an instrument track for EZ Drummer. When I drag the MIDI groove from EZ Drummer to my instrument track a new track is created and the MIDI file goes to that newly created track.

Help using synthesizer as Midi Controller (am I missing something here?)

Hey guys, I posted this under another section of GS but realized it was probably in the wrong forum. Recently my Korg MicroKontrol broke down on me, and instead of purchasing a new midi controller, I decided to whip the Nord Lead 2X out from the attic and use that as my dedicated controller instead.

This update is a major one featuring some new functionalities has described in the following : New: – IO Modules : A left click on MIDI/Audio Inputs/Outputs and ASIO driver labels brings a panel to front. Even if these panels featuring big buttons are an easier way to select ports from a touch screen , they are mostly a place for some of the new features in version 1.1.0

Noob Logic MIDI question

So, I FINALLY got a copy of Logic. I’m actually finding the program pretty easy to learn which was not what I was expecting. I’ve been using Pro Tools since version 4.
