Software equivalent of TC Phoenix ME?
May 10, 2010 Recording
I have been quite interested in this compressor for the mix bus for dance/club music (and possibly vocals as well) but it’s way out of my price range at the moment. In the mean time, I was just wondering if there are any good software compressors that emulate the sound and/or behavior of this well-known comp to give me a feel for the type of sound it can deliver

Stereo vst confusion (ohmicide, trilian and others)
May 9, 2010 Recording
Often when i’m building up a track i use soft synths and v-fx that output in stereo. Later down the line i realise the mix is too crowded and i should have been using mono from the beginning for most sounds. My sequencer is Cubase sx3
