Phantom Power problems

I wonder if anyone can help me with a phantom power related problem I’m having. I’ve recently bought an old 80s analogue desk (a MTR 12 to 8..very basic) and am simply running the desk’s outs into my Focusrite Saffire Pros line inputs. So technically just utilising the desks channel strips (which sound surprisingly good for a small desk!..nice and warm).

Ive Recently Built a Small Studio Setup in my Room bx5a monitors, Bluebird Condenser mic, m-box mini, Running Pro Tools. My Mic is setup in My closet I took All my clothes out cause I Have noticed the deadening of sound while the clothes were in there
