Phantom Power problems
May 10, 2010 Recording
I wonder if anyone can help me with a phantom power related problem I’m having. I’ve recently bought an old 80s analogue desk (a MTR 12 to 8..very basic) and am simply running the desk’s outs into my Focusrite Saffire Pros line inputs.

So technically just utilising the desks channel strips (which sound surprisingly good for a small desk!..nice and warm).

HI chaps her is a thing, i use a protools template to line up my desk every day, i have pin noise routed to 16 outputs, those 16 outputs connect thru the patch bay to the ins of 16 channels of my desk , soundcraft 6000, and im not happy with the way im lining up , the level from the desk seems quite when i send it back to tools, and im diggin up a lot of noise, o the way back to tools, is there a tried and tested way , you al like for this line up?
