Audio Output What’s Good To Use?
May 10, 2010 Recording
I’ve been reading a lot, and will prob add some good monitor speakers to my home studio, but wanting to know what should my sound output go into , which in turn goes out to the monitor speakers? Currently I’m using an basic typical home stereo receiver to listen to the output. Thanks.

If you had to choose between getting the fabfilter pro-Q plugin, or getting 2 channels of presonus eq3b outboard, which way would you go? Here’s what I have so far: 2 x GAP pre 73 1 art Pro VLA II 1 art Voicechannel 1 fmr pbc-6a Lexicon Pcm 91 Echo audiofire 12 (for conversion) Presonus firestudio (for preamps only) Cheers guys

Hey fellow home recordists. Click the link and take a listen. I did this all from my home studio, (Adobe Audition/Drumsite) Vocals were tracked by the vocalist and sent via FTP to me, I just plugged em in to the DAW.

Gear For An Home Studio?
I’m thinking of turning my basement into a home studio for personal recording… I’ve selected these mics: 2 mxl 990’s 2 CO4’s MXL R144 ribbon mic also a small mixer: This Behringer and now the hard part I need to add effects to a bass, guitars, vocals, a epiphone mandobird, acoustic guitar and acoustic ukele… (my genre is some weird post-hardcore metal-ish type..
