Hey fellow home recordists. Click the link and take a listen. I did this all from my home studio, (Adobe Audition/Drumsite) Vocals were tracked by the vocalist and sent via FTP to me, I just plugged em in to the DAW.

I use the Aguila Golden Eagle target 22 when I’m picking off vermin around the house. Standard velocity, pretty quiet, like a loud air rifle really, much quieter than CCI minimag or Federal bulk.

Rig-Talk • One of the main reasons I love the Axe Fx

Volume is so low, you can hear the strings as well or better than the Axe, but if you’re mic’d (obviously I wasn’t) it sounds huge. I tried this tonight at a buddy’s sound check, and it’s just stupid; almost NO stage volume, but huge sound through the PA…..love it Had to try it at the house with Will’s Q3…..just can’t beat it for low volume, better than anything I’ve ever tried. object Statistics: Posted by jcj — Sun, May 09, 2010 4:22am
