Just received my GTQ2 last week (thank Tony kfhkh) , racked it up, tested the SM7, sounds brilliant. Had to flee the state on business so I wont be back till the end of the week. The Rosetta 200 is my AD/DA and Im using the Coleman Audio TB4 MKII as my monitor controller

Audio Output What’s Good To Use?

I’ve been reading a lot, and will prob add some good monitor speakers to my home studio, but wanting to know what should my sound output go into , which in turn goes out to the monitor speakers? Currently I’m using an basic typical home stereo receiver to listen to the output. Thanks.

question about monitors and a mbox 2 mini

If I have the 1/4 connectors plugged into the mbox 2 mini and trying to get sound out of anything… do I still need to plug in the USB ? because my monoitors are usb powered…

newfound Duet pops/interference

Hey slutz, I just bought a new external monitor for my MBP (I’ve never used an external monitor before) and I noticed my Duet started a steady but quiet pop every few seconds when recording mic line in. When I disconnect my monitor, the problem goes away. I am pretty sure there’s nothing wrong with my Duet, but rather a firewire power issue that is occurring due to interference with the monitor out.
