May 11, 2010 Recording
Hi, I’ve been using m-audio profire 2626 for a while and just sold it due to 610/2626’s unstable latency issue and 2626’s bsod issue. Now I’m looking for a new interface that is capable of -Low latency -Great ad/da conversion and sound quality -Good Preamp -Stable and reliable driver I’ve done some research and found two interfaces focusrite saffire pro 40 tc electronics impact twin Any ideas of there two interfaces or any other recommendations??

Upgrade from Firebox as digi in

Just looking for a few starter tips…I’ve used the Presonus Firebox for ages…initially as preamp and interface but now hooked to ART mpa Gold…the Firebox just acts like the digital in to my PC.

Question re SoundDevices 552’s preamps
May 7, 2010 Recording
Hi All, How are the 552’s preamps for studio recording of music and vocals? I need to increase my preamp count for doing the above (and some location stuff in churches) and was looking at something like an 8-preamp audio interface to replace/augment my MOTU Ultralite
