How Does Google Count Local Results?

Posted by Dr-Pete I’ve become a bit obsessed with how Google counts results. You may think it’s easy (1, 2, 3… 10), but add in 7-result SERPs and blended local results, and counting to 10 is no longer a Kindergarten-level achievement.
