The Google Apps for Education Initiative Comes to New York

Today Google announced that the state of New York will be joining the ranks of Colorado, Iowa, Maryland and Oregon by becoming the fifth state (and the largest) to implement Google Apps for Education into its K-12 classrooms. With this program, all public school districts, non-public, and charter school across the state will now have access to Google features such as Gmail, Docs, Sites and Calendar along with full training and resources to help teachers and students learn to use these tools in their everyday lives.
