Twitter To Team Up With Stripe To Insert A ‘Buy Now’ Button Into Tweets by @mattsouthern

In January, Re/code reported that Twitter and Stripe were in talks to work together on something but nothing had been finalized at that time. Sources have told Re/code that the deal has since been finalized and the two parties are working together on a way to make purchases directly from tweets. Twitter is expected to introduce buttons later this year that will be embedded in tweets and invite users to “Buy”, or include some variation of that word.
