Bing’s Social Search Now Recommends Twitter Users to Follow

Users of Bing’s Social Search will now get recommendations of people they should follow on Twitter when they perform a query, similar to the feature that Twitter already offers. This feature exceeds in some topics, for instances bands and celebrities; the site even lets you know if the account is authentic by displaying the blue and white checkmark next to the name.

Google Adds Starring Feature to Local Search, Along with TV Search Filters and more IMDB Movie Info

A few new search features have been added by Google over the weekend for the realms of TV, movie, and local searches. Users will now see the addition of director and actor information, plus IMDB user ratings and links to the database site. Google’s blog says that right now this feature is only available in English and Japanese, but users should expect other languages over time
