Google is yet again under fire from for its alleged anticompetitive practices in online advertising. According to Bloomberg, the U.S. Department of Justice could sue Alphabet, Inc, the search engine’s parent company, for antitrust violations as early as next month. Google Repeatedly Targeted by Antitrust Allegations In October 2020, the federal department of justice filed a lawsuit against the search engine giant, which currently accounts for an 83.84% of the global market. This suit, which was filed under the Trump administration, alleges Google’s online advertising dominance constitutes an illegal monopoly.

This update will be rolling out soon and will have a meaningful impact on the search results, Google told us.
Google will be releasing another product reviews update, the August 2022 product reviews update, in the coming weeks, the search company also announced along with the helpful content update . Google said they are launching another update “in the coming weeks to make it even easier to find high-quality, original reviews.” Google said this is another refinement to the product reviews ranking system that aims to “make sure you find the most useful information when you’re researching a purchase on the web.” Timing.
