Customer acquisition without marketing.
How many millions or even billions have been poured into creating content over the past 5 years?
If you’ve ever seen Scott Stratten ( @unmarketing ) speak you know that he offers a great mix of information, anecdotes, and comedy. When I picked up his new book “ The Book of Business Awesome & UnAwesome ” I was pleased to see that these traits carried over into his writing as well. Scott’s new book is very cleverly compiled. If you flip the book one way, you’ll find a collection of stories and experiences of businesses that are taking an “Awesome” approach to engaging customers in a meaningful way. On the flipside, you will find companies taking an “UnAwesome” approach that leaves customers wanting more. If you’re in the market for a new business boo, pick up “The Book of Business Awesome & UnAwesome”. It’s easy to read and contains many great nuggets of useful information.
Finding Beauty in NYC is All About Perspective & Vantage Point Many of you might know that Lee Odden ( @leeodden ) and I attended BlogWorld in New York last week. I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to interview many of the speakers that were presenting, and sit in on some really great sessions. That being said, many of you have already seen the conference from my point of view
Scott Stratten’s ( @unmarketing ) opening session at BlogWorld NY was one of the sessions that I was most excited about. I even asked if I could walk in early and get a good seat (nerdy I know). I was not disappointed.
